To clean To Lich river with Japanese technology

 On the afternoon of April 11, at the headquarters of the Government, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received a delegation of Japanese experts on the environment led by Dr. Tadashi Yamamura – United Nations expert on environment, Chairman of Trade Promotion Organization – Environment. Japanese schools lead.
 
    Japanese experts say “with bio-nano technology aeration, after only three days, the smell of pollution in To Lich river will be much reduced”.

    At the meeting, Mr. Tadashi Yamamura proposed to grant free bio-nano technology equipment, piloting pollution of a section of To Lich river and a corner of West Lake. 
 
    Japan will bring equipment with super-fast processing speed under the To Lich River. This technology includes nano-technology aeration using natural materials. Experts said that after only three days, the smell of pollution will decrease much.
 
    Dr. Tadashi Yamamura confirmed the investigation and survey for two years to make the proposal. He hopes this modern technology will support Vietnam positively in wastewater treatment.
 
    Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc evaluated the proposal of the Japanese expert group “a good and very practical idea for Vietnam”; At the same time, the Japanese side highly appreciated the fund to implement this with socialized capital. Government leaders asked Japanese experts to work specifically with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Hanoi to study and decide to clean up To Lich river. The Prime Minister believes that the new technology will succeed in treating wastewater , polluted water in Hanoi and other localities.

    After implementation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment summarizes and evaluates and reports to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.
 
    To Lich River is about 14 km long, flowing through Ba Dinh, Cau Giay, Dong Da, Thanh Xuan, Hoang Mai and Thanh Tri districts of Hanoi City. For many years, the water in To Lich River has been seriously polluted, stinking.
